Dear Potential Donor, I appreciate your visit to our classroom page. I am a public school teacher in a rural town in Michigan. As a teacher I'm persistently searching for ways to enrich my students' learning and most importantly prepare them for the real world. South Haven, although a thriving summer beach town, is a remote location with few corporations, businesses, often resulting in our students choosing to not go to college. By providing students with a 21st Century learning environment I feel confident that I could get more students excited about collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity. All 4Cs required in our 21st Century work force. By feeding our young people in our community we can build a strong annual home in South Haven, not just a summer beach get away.
