The products I have selected will ensure that my scholars prioritize organization first and foremost. In my classroom, I want scholars to be proactive and responsible with their materials, even at the age of 5 and 6. When students enter the room each morning, they will use their personal mailbox slot to store homework folders and any and all completed work. This will be an easy way for students to access their materials independently. The seat sacks will be used to help scholars organize their daily materials, such as Morning Work, Independent Center Work, Clipboards, Journals, etc. With 6 children at each table, this will allow each student to store his or her materials in their own personal space. Kindergarteners will be able to gather materials and put them away properly with little distractions. The minimal distractions will help maximize learning time, as smooth transitions and organization will eliminate the need to redirect students. The dry-erase pockets will serve as a reusable tool for daily math and literacy center materials. Reusable pockets eliminate the need for constant lamination of center materials, which are switched out every few weeks. We can emphasize being respectful to our classroom materials as we use these exciting and interactive dry-erase pockets in our daily centers! When scholars stay organized, their learning time is maximized and they will be set up for success not only in school but also in college and future careers.
