Technology is everywhere and this generation has never been without it! They use it daily and rely on it. But do they know how it works? The Dash and Dot Robot Wonder Pack will introduce students to the basics of coding. Dash and Dot are programmable robotic buddies that allow students to code their movements and actions. The kids are in control of each movement and action the robots make. As they develop and enter their codes into the Galaxy Tab or "The Brains", students will learn that each action in technology is specific and intentional. After students have mastered basic coding skills, they will be pushed to the next level with the Dash and Dot Learn to Code Challenge Card Box Set. Students' critical thinking and problem solving skills are stretched to the max in a fun and engaging way. Dash and Dot are sure to become our best friends! Students instantly become computer scientists and engineers. Women and minorities are underrepresented groups in the coding world. I am working to change that, one class at a time. Coding is the foundation of everything. It is essential that all students are exposed to computer science at an early age to increase interest and knowledge. These engaging experiences expose and prepare students for a future in a growing field. By investing in this project, you invest in the future. These students will design the future technology that you and I will depend on.
