Finding the class time to teach both all of the reading and social studies standards is becoming more and more difficult, so incorporating our social studies standards through literacy is a must! With that said, our classroom is in need of historical fiction novels. We recently finished a novel, "Refugee" by Alan Gratz, and we are craving more! Cliffhangers, historical fiction, relatable characters, different perspectives, and so much more...his books have it all! Please help us learn our historical lessons through our class novels. Our classroom would love the opportunity to read more!

About my class
