The students in my class come to school each day with a smile on their face, eager to learn. However, sometimes circumstances of out their control makes that difficult. 1 out of 3 students in my class are considered "struggling learners" or "below-grade level." Their language impairments or struggle with focus and attention make working in a large classroom difficult. In addition, students in my class come from very diverse backgrounds. The goal is create a classroom environment that encourages risk taking, problem solving, and growth.
