This is our 3rd year doing a school wide initiative called Positive Behavior Supports and Interventions (PBIS). PBIS is an evidence-based approach to school behavior management that focuses on problem-solving from a systems perspective. Schools that have implemented PBIS have found a decrease in problematic behaviors, an increase in academic performance, and an enhanced feeling of safety in school. The purpose of this project is to reward students who are caught doing good! As a school, we look for ways to implement positive behavior incentives, and it’s a daily component in the classroom. We encourage students to strive to do their best and earn rewards for making positive choices. Our school is in need of prizes and incentives to reward our students for positive behavior. Please help us in supporting our learning community.
