Our school is a Title I school where at least 40 percent of the students are socio-economically disadvantaged. Many of my students participate in the free or reduced lunch program and don't have the funds to afford basic school supplies let alone computers. Despite these unfortunate circumstances, they come to class eager to learn. They are always enthusiastic especially when they get to use technology in the classroom because for some of them this is their only access to it at school. They are a diverse group of students with many different ethnicities, cultures, and languages. I am not only excited to see what they will learn this year but also what I will learn from them!
