These materials will give my students the opportunity to learn a new form of literacy - coding. Coding is becoming more and more important in today's society and will be an integral part of many of their lives moving forward. Students will have access to coding materials in my classroom that many of them are not able to afford at home. These tools will allow my students to learn and be able to code across all academic areas. Many students are very new to coding, something that I am very passionate about, however it is hard to do with limited resources. I want to allow my students to take control of their learning, working individually and in small groups to explore new tools.
