Imagine waking up, and suddenly, words do not look like words anymore. Everything you try to read is a scramble of letters-how do you get through your day? How frustrating would it be to have to ask for someone to read everything to you? This is what it is like having dyslexia; everything you try to read appears to be jumbled. With the c-pen (a pen that reads words aloud to students), students with dyslexia will be able to read with their general education peers, and have access to curriculum they otherwise would not have. Less frustration, more classroom involvement.
