It has become instrumental to my students to use a plush version of main characters in books to create a tactile and interactive story time. Manipulative materials in preschool are crucial in the forming of fine motor skills such as handwriting. I plan to implement these tools in a fun and interesting way to engage my students to hone in on their fine motor skills. The learning tools I have selected will increase a love of reading and a respect for books, as well as a fun way to sneak in building fine motor skills.
