My first grade children are curious, imaginative and creative children! They come from diverse income households where there has been an increase with lower income families. Transitioning to remote distance learning allowed me to creatively engage, motivate and challenge the students while learning from home! One area where remote teaching was difficult was trying to instruct the children without the necessary equipment while teaching from my dining room. Please help my first grade students reach success with providing my class with a portable document camera and portable magnetic flip chart. In order to capture their enthusiasm for learning whether at home remotely or in our traditional classroom, my class will benefit from receiving my instruction with the use of technology found in the classroom setting. In planning for the uncertainties of remote teaching, these resources will allow for flexibility!
