My students are a group of seven and eight year olds who are learning to become fluent readers, problem solvers, and compassionate and empathetic citizens. Our second grade classroom is in a public school setting in which I am their primary teacher. Our classroom includes a diverse group of individuals all coming from various backgrounds and socioeconomic settings. One thing is for sure, we are all eager to learn and to help one another succeed.
