Within the mathematics classroom, this project will bring together technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics by allowing students to have real-world experience as they plan and start-up their own business. As entrepreneurs, they will think and research their community's needs and propose a product they will then manufacture using the cutting machine. Great opportunity for students to be creative as they learn about the engineering process and calculate projected earnings compared to their initial investment. The options are endless and collaboration through surveying and feedback will guide students to make informed decisions. Creations and findings will be presented and showcased in the form of posters using the wide format printer and in digital by using our new Apple TV.
