Real science tables will vastly improve my students' science experience. By providing a solid, chemical resistant laboratory table top, students will be able to do more hands-on experiments. This would improve their current experience of regular desks that are falling apart and don't lend themselves to group work. The current desks are not fit for middle schoolers. They are too short for many of the students to be able to scoot into their seat because the students are too tall. The desks also do not have the proper top for experiments. There are too many cracks for things to fall into when 4 small desks are shoved together. They are too easily slid around during group work.
