I am the Occupational Therapist at Haisley Elementary, supporting approximately 50 students with a wide range of abilities, from general education students with ADHD, Down syndrome, autism, speech/language impairments, and emotional impairments, to students in severely multiply impaired and moderate autism self-contained classrooms. My students have varying levels of need, as well as variable access to necessary supports. I work with students from Young 5’s through 5th grade, helping them develop fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills so they can participate fully in school and daily life. Many of my students need hands-on tools, adaptive materials, and sensory supports to reach their potential, and your support would help me provide the resources they need to thrive. My students are FUN, creative, and sometimes challenging, yet they are always determined to beat the odds.
