My students are very thirsty to read. We spend time working in groups and reading in the classroom. This is something that the students have truly missed and appreciate so much more after spending over a year doing online learning. Students are interacting and doing projects together along side reading rich literature. I have been collecting books for years, but am very excited to expand my library to give children more access to a diverse, higher level library. Reading is the key to expanding children's knowledge. If children can become passionate and fall in love with reading, they can have access to knowledge for the rest of their lives.
