My classroom is in a Jr. High setting. I teach 7th-9th graders in a Special Education Resource classroom. I teach at a title one school, where for many reading has not been a main focus. The skills in my classroom range from a first grade level to a ninth grade level. This makes it difficult to teach, but having an enjoyable novel at least shows them that reading can be fun.
