This rug will be used for morning meetings where we will sing songs, create goals, discuss our feelings and share our opinions in a safe yet cozy environment. Students can also use it as a flexible space for working, creating or reading even laying down or spreading out materials. By providing multiple uses, this rug will add to the flexible and responsive classroom I am striving to have for the new school year. I envision one of my students grabbing a book or math manipulative and getting to work while another student might walk by and inquire about what they are doing.
