I have been working towards having flexible seating during all classroom activities the past year. Currently, each students has an individual therapy ball or a stool to pick from for desk and center work. We also carpet seating for those who would rather not sit at a desk during whole group instruction. By adding in floor cushions and library bean bag chairs, our carpet and laptop center will be more comfortable, inviting, and provide the kids with more options on how they are learning. The student in my classroom thrive when learning in an environment that is best suited for their individual needs.

About my class
