We are an elementary school with approximately 675 students from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. Many of our students come from homes that have very limited resources. They are diverse and represent many ethnic groups and nationalities. Our school is in an urban setting and many of our students don't have the luxury of traveling to explore the state, the country, or the world. The media center is a place where they can explore other places and cultures through books and the Internet. Our students love to read! The media center is a very busy place. It's THE place to be for story times, research, student-produced videos and checking out the latest, greatest books. Many student projects are displayed throughout the media center. Our students are talented and love to show it.
