This year, a few students came to me saying that they wanted to be part of a book club. Instantly, I told them it was a great idea and we would get it going! At our meeting, we had so many excited students show up. They are yearning to be part of a group, make new friends, and expand on their love of reading! In our book club, students will get to read books and come together once a week to talk about what they are reading so far! Students want to read new AND classic books, so that is what I am trying to provide for them! I am asking for about 10 copies/book so we can have great discussions with larger groups of students. My hope is that this first year will spark an excitement for reading and the book club will keep growing!
