My students will use these USB headphones with built-in microphones daily! Having these resources will increase the level of personalized learning opportunities in our classroom. Students will be able to create videos to demonstrate their learning. Having these specific headphones will increase the quality of sound recording. Some of my students struggle mightily with writing. Giving these students an opportunity to create a video to show mastery of a concept instead of having to write it down will increase their self-confidence and success! Students will also be able to participate in online reading recovery programs that will record their voices as they read and improve fluency and confidence with literacy skills. Who remembers being forced to keep a reading log in school? No more! With these headphones, students will create a videos to show what they are reading, tell their favorite parts of stories, and demonstrate knowledge of essential reading skills. We will post these videos to our classroom online journal and use that to create a reading community that will inspire others to read more books!
