Students will be presented with engineering challenges that will cause them to explore, create and persevere. Students will be given a snap circuits task/challenge and they need to build it and master it through inquiry and trial and error. I want them to figure out the task themselves. I want to push them beyond what they think they can do. The lessons learned will not just be the engineering challenge itself, but also strengthening their character and focusing on a growth mindset. When students change their mindset, they change their lives and their limits. This is best done through activities, such as these snap circuits, in which students make mistakes, but keep going and learn to persevere.
