**I am terrible with these apps. I thank from the bottom of my heart the anonymous donor who funded most of my project. Reading is amazing, and you have given my students a gift that will last a lifetime. I hope you see this! THANK YOU!!! Novels are an important aspect of brick and mortar schools and something students have been away from for the past year with virtual learning. However, reading on a computer has a different effect than reading from a novel, where students can process their emotions through annotation. Annotation via sticky notes is a skill that helps to promote thought-provoking discussions that will enrich the education of the students in grades 9-12. These novels help foster an educationally sound experience and help promote social and emotional learning through empathy and understanding. Separating the student from the computer allows for that emotional growth.
