As students enter my Math classroom, they begin to explore a broader view of the challenges within their community and the responsibility they have to contribute to the solution using their knowledge of mathematics. Students gain the head knowledge through class content taught but struggle to see the real life application; hands on materials provide relevant application in a meaningful way integrating a STEM focus. Students engineer and use mathematics to extend their thinking as they integrate the use of technology and hands on inquiry in my math class. Help take learning to a new level!
