My students are 9th-12th graders, either taking Introductory Biology or AP Biology in one of California's poorest cities. These students are taking on challenging courses and pride mysef in creating learning experiences to foster their love of science. As their teacher it is my job to give them the best academic experience I possibly can but I am often faced with limited resources and funding. So I have turned to donors choose to get up to date lab supplies, equipment and manipulatives. Our students are surrounded by high crime rate, a high drop out rate, and high poverty statistics, but yet they come to class eager to learn and understand the power of a quality education. Thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness.
