I have 36 incredibly talented students. Most are from single parent, low income households. But you would not know it from their drive to succeed. As teachers we try to inspire our students to be the best. My students do this for me on a daily basis. In our fifth grade class we love to write. We share our emotions, we use strong verbs, and we add adjectives to create beautiful images for our readers. We also love to use figurative language to sculpt and mold what it is we want our reader to see and feel.
