I have a goal to make all of my students successful. To achieve this goal, there are some materials they need. Headphones and books are just a few things that make a huge difference.
Headphones are crucial in my classroom. We use computers everyday! They use computers for reading and for math. Lack of working headphones has made a huge impact on their learning, in a negative way. Most of the families cannot afford to buy their students ear buds or any sort of headphones and our district doesn't have the funding to get headphones for our classes either. Having functional headphones will improve their learning and make such a huge positive impact in my classroom.
Another item that impacts student learning are books, of course! My students love to ask questions and are very excited about learning new things. I have spent so much money buying books for my students, but on a newlywed teacher salary, books are hard to afford. I want my students to be as successful as they can be and I just know having books like these will increase student learning.
