As a Title 1 Kindergarten through 5th grade elementary school, many of our students come from homes with limited resources and few, if any books. Reading at home is often not a common happening. If school is the main place students do their reading, it is vitally important to expose students to as many times and places to read as possible. The Makery is our library Makerspace-a place where students in all grades are able to create, explore, experiment and learn through hands-on activities.
