These materials will be used all day everyday for 180 days! I feel that ALL of my students deserve flexible seating to help them find the best way for them to learn. A variety of seating will help meet the specific needs of all of my students. Some students require the ability to wiggle or move while working. Other students may need to use the cushions on the floor to help them focus on their work. In previous years I have seen great improvement in behavior and motivation when children have the opportunity to choose their seating. These materials will be used for Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and many other areas. Students will work in groups and work individually. Students will have a choice of seating throughout the day instead of sitting in regular chairs. I feel that if the students have a choice in their seating, they will be more comfortable and more willing to participate. Flexible seating will help my students become successful learners.
