Some of the students that come into my classroom come from a different culture. With their native language being one that I do not speak, it is very frustrating for both the student and me at times when we have to rely on typing out everything in a translator on google to communicate the simple instructions of a lesson. With this translator, the student and teacher will be able to speak in real-time and understand what the other person is saying, keeping the student engaged throughout the whole lesson being taught. It will make the student feel more at ease to share their thoughts and ideas with others in the classroom, and help them be apart of the classroom community. Keeping the flow of learning going at the same rate as the rest of the classroom, also provides a way to help build the confidence within the student, allowing them to be able to work alongside their peers without barriers.
