Flexible seating allows students to choose a workspace that best suits their learning needs while safely remaining in his or her own personal space. During independent work time, each student will be able to choose a workspace. This workspace might change throughout the day as each student's needs change. This will allow them to learn in an individualized and comfortable environment. At this time, I have limited options, including sitting on yoga mats at a table without legs, sitting on a carpet, and scoop rockers. With your support, the students will have more comfortable choices to fit multiple learning styles.
