This year, students will create interactive journals. With interactive journals there is alot of cutting and pasting. Right now there are several scissors but they are kid-sized and not enough for everyone to have their own. If students are able to have their own they can focus on the task at hand and save alot of 'wait' time to complete their activity. Students will be engaged and work towards understanding the foundations of biology. The biology interactive journals is a tool that is used for the learning process. It is a fun way for students to take notes. They can create popups, venn diagrams, and more to help them understand the material learned. They can use it to study and is a creative outlet for students. When students are in the science lab, they can also bring their interactive journals. When students are using the scientific method during their experiment. The visuals will help them remember the concepts.
