The Codebot will be used as a community builder to explain how coding is used to create computer software including video games. Later on students will work in small groups to complete challenges working on leadership skills and engineering skills. I want to provide more possibilities for their futures! The Tangrams and the geometry blocks will be used daily to develop our spatial reasoning skills. As mathematics becomes more abstract it is proven that without spatial reasoning skills students are less successful in middle school and high school mathematics. Other materials and activities will lend to STEM and PBL projects.

About my class
