These materials will make a difference in my classroom, because they will give the students an opportunity to choose their methods of learning. For example, when a student selects a book, they can work with a partner and discuss passages. When students are able to discuss their learning, they retain that knowledge and are able to recall that information, because they were able to make a connection as well as relate to it. Our student's tech knowledge is constantly excelling, but it will be more beneficial when our students can comprehend the information they are able to find. Practice makes perfect. That is why I find it important to have a library of science related materials available to all students.
