I am asking for a variety of resources including a set of Fraction Number Lines Write and Wipe Boards, a set of calculators, a set of math solutions centers and a printer. Math manipulatives help students learn new concepts as well as enhance skills they are struggling with. Younger students learn through a tactile structure and tend to enjoy learning more when they can visualize the way to solve a problem. Technology plays an important role in learning because it gives students the ability to apply lifelong learning skills to content areas such as math. We use technology every day to enhance our math skills and after mastering a concept, my students like to create projects about what they learned. With the ability to see their learning come to life, a color printer will put the staple in their final projects.
