In my classroom, I promote and welcome all learning styles. It is well known that not all scholars learn the same way. There is no longer a “one size fits all” education. Most students are kinesthetic learners, which requires them to have more movement. This movement is better suited for flexible seating (wobble chairs) not desks. Wobble chairs are not only a great option for flexible seating but they also provide improvement in balance, posture, and fitness. Students will get to use these seats on a daily basis for learning and movement as needed. Wobble seats will give my students a sense of independence in being able to choose where they want to sit. That’s a win, win in my book because students can wobble while working!
