My classroom carpet was removed several years ago and replaced with tile. Since we do a lot of moving in my class, my students don't always sit in chairs. For their comfort, I cover the tile floor with a variety of carpets. Safety is a very high priority with so many students moving in and out of my classroom daily. The oldest carpet in my classroom is over 25 years old, and is very worn and slippery on the bottom. I would like to replace this so my students can move and dance more safely in my classroom. We have two other carpets for place/spacing, but they also slip during movement. I would like to place rubberized carpet pads underneath so they will be safer when moving.
