My students have learning disabilities that keep them from being able to write. They have disgraphia, a disability that limits their physical writing ability. With technology, they can use software to get their words onto paper. iPads will help them get their thoughts transferred onto software. They will use word prediction software to help them write their assignments, and they will be printed or emailed to their teacher for review. All assignments can be scanned and downloaded so they can type their answers onto the screen. My students will be successful in their educational life and become empowered to succeed! With an iPad and special software, they can overcome their disability to be equal with their same age peers without disabilities.
