A large carpeted area, with the Seating Squares Carpet, for my students to gather while reading or working on projects will make a huge difference to our room. Currently, our room only has tiled flooring which creates a rather cold looking environment. Sitting in a desk all day and having no other place to sit, makes my students antsy. Additional seating, as well as a cozier atmosphere, will allow my students to feel more at home and go a long way to making the environment in our room more comfortable for learning. Students will be free to stretch out on the carpet while reading with a partner, sharing a new math strategy, or even writing.
