Specifically, for this project, my students and I will focus on using Readers Theater to assist with visualization, communication, reading accuracy and fluency to support comprehension. My students often look forward to participating in Readers Theater because it encourages peer dialogue and allows them to have a voice as they work collaboratively. It would be wonderful for my students to be able to use an iMac so that their Readers Theater projects can be filmed and viewed. The computer will allow for further visualization of my students' performance. My students would also have an opportunity to self-assess using concrete evidence provided by watching their performance.
