These materials will allow my students to learn, explore, and have hands on fun while manipulating the accessories on the light table. The science area is the least used area in our classroom. The light table will spark a renewed interest in the science area. The students will make patterns, explore shapes and use critical thinking skills while engaging with the hands on manipulatives. Not only will this light table be good for science but it will encourage an increased vocabulary and communication skills for the students. This will make a huge difference in the lives of these young learners.
