Hi! I teach AP US History AP US Government at a progressive charter high school serving predominantly Latino students who will be mostly first-generation college students. My kids are great and most are really motivated to succeed. We work on our writing and historical thinking skills everyday, and are sometimes challenged by difficulties facing many ESL students, but continue to persevere. This is my third year teaching AP US History and my first teaching AP Government. My current endeavor is to bring my classroom equipment current so that my students can do more of the "heavy lifting" themselves and build digital literacy skills by doing research projects and presentations instead of just listening to mine!
