Vivid, print-rich magazines will open new learning experiences for my students as they begin to read about the larger world around them. Visuals provide important context for young students with dictionaries supporting students' writing as students apply critical-thinking skills to current events and topics that impact their everyday lives. Vinyl covers ensure a "safe" display of their work for all to see. These students are future world-changers and need to have a working understanding of the world they live in so that they can work to make it better. During every social studies lesson, these students have a million questions and even solutions to make the Earth cleaner, healthier, stronger and safer for all that dwell on it. These magazines are an investment in a brighter tomorrow through their dreams.
