I teach first grade with a total of 22 students. I have 12 boys and 10 girls. My students have a wide range of abilities and interests. 14 of my 22 students receive extra reading support in addition to daily classroom instruction. Most of my students come from a rural community. Half of them receive free or reduced lunch due to low socio-economic status.
