There are limited instruments at our campus and a piano lab will give over 600 students (annually) the advantage of learning how to connect note reading to playing an instrument. Studies have shown that students who study music improve in their school work and keeps them engaged in the classroom. Through your donation, children of all learning styles will have the opportunity to improve ear training, rhythm and fine motor skills. Students will be paired at the keyboard to allow peer teaching and learning. Students will complete age appropriate theory assignments to assist each other in mastering sequential keyboard lessons.
