Our students cut across many socio-economic levels and cultural backgrounds. We have top-notch kids that go to four year and Ivy league schools right out of high school, and other kids that struggle with grades. Our school is the oldest in in our city and therefore a strong source of both pride and tradition. Our students feel like they are part of a 120 year old history, and many students have parents and even grandparents that are alumni. Many of our staff are alumni from the school or district (including myself). Our students want to find a way to touch that history and be a part of the traditions of our school.

About my class
