I will be teaching an English I, High school level course this year and really want to challenge these 8th grade students with the novels and curriculum to meet their needs. In order to do this we need to purchase these novels. Coming of age stories are so important with this age group, and what a better way than to do some Harper Lee and Shakespeare! We will be doing a long term Shakespeare project including learning Elizabethan language, study of The Globe Theater and William's life and an author study about Harper Lee.

About my class
