The Weight Room is a beautiful new building here on campus. The problem is that we have no dumbbells because of a lack of space. These adjustable dumbbells will be great space savers as well as give us the chance to help all of our students and athletes. The weight room is used by all students in PE, our after-school program, as well as our athletes. It would be used by over 1,000 students per year. The area around our school is dangerous, and we are trying to keep our students involved in sports or after school clubs as much as possible. The longer they are on campus, the safer they are. The weight room gets used all day long from 8:00 in the morning, until 6:00 at night. Adding these adjustable dumbbells will give our students the chance to do new lifts, and they will be especially helpful for our beginning and female athletes who are not capable of lifting the 45 lb. Olympic bars we currently use.
