My school has perhaps the highest percentage of low-income students in East Tennessee. 100% of the students are on the free breakfast and lunch program. Many of our students receive dinner for their families as well as through our school. Most families struggle to provide basic needs such as toiletries and clothing. Our students LOVE coming to school because they know we give them the opportunity to be someone great. Our teachers have a passion for working with our students that is unmatched. We love coming to work here because we ARE making a difference.
